Fixture and Fitting Inventories

 

F & F as it is termed in the industry is to compile a list of all the fixtures and fittings of a business. The reasons for doing this are usually when a business is being transfered, often in the leisure industry and all of the lights, carpets, ornaments, furniture,catering equipment etc,etc  that go to the running of that business have to be considered.

We would normally attend and compile a list of all of the relevent items and after a period present to the client the list with a total valuation.  This fully documented record is of great use by your financial adviser when collating depreciation claims.

This proceedure can also be applied in an industrial environment and is often used to assist in the compilation of an asset register.      Other times this operation is a valid one is for the dissolution or formation of partnerships or it a company changes status to or from a limited liability entity. Management buy outs or similar situations would also apply.
