G&Y Services provide stock taking and stock valuation services for a wide range of varied business sectors from newsagents, service station forecourts, garden centres, off licences, supermarkets, general stores, post offices, marinas and boat chandlers, pet shops, clothing shops, stationers, DIY stores to cycle shops.

Business Transfer:
This part of our operation is very important as a great deal is at stake between the two parties involved in a transfer of ownership. Generally we would expect to act for both vendor and purchaser and give a fair, unbiased stock valuation of the "stock in trade" in these cases it is normal for the parties to share the fee equally.

In a transfer of ownership it is of paramount importance to be fair to both parties in the transaction. On one side, a lot of time, hard work and money have contributed to make the business what it is, on the other; the purchaser has amassed the capital to invest in this new undertaking.

Both parties in a business transfer rightly expect an independent, fair and unbiased valuation which is exactly what we provide. As a company, we work to the code of practice of "The Trade Valuers Institute"

G & Y SERVICES have over the years carried out stocktakes and counts on Aircraft spares, Ship spares (whilst at sea), motor vehicle parts and accessories, factory stores and large warehouse units.

Weekend or bank holiday work has the same fee as weekday work over the years.
